Job summary

Tektronix is seeking an AMR Senior Account Manager to cover strategic aerospace and defense accounts in NY, NJ, PA, and MD. You will serve as the primary contact for key accounts, build strong cross-functional relationships, and implement territory strategies to drive partnerships and expansion.

You should bring proven technical sales experience in the Aerospace & Defense sector, knowledge of defense technologies, and the ability to travel within the region.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in Aerospace & Defense.
• Experience engaging with defense technologies including radar, EW, avionics, power systems, and mission systems.
• Strong knowledge of test and measurement instrument solutions like oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
• Excellent relationship building, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel within assigned region and surroundings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts in the region.
• Increase influence & trust within accounts and build relationships across engineering, program, and procurement functions.
• Establish & execute territory & account strategies focusing on partnerships, revenue durability, expansion, and white-space growth.
• Leverage sales processes with application-led discovery and value-selling concepts.
• Generate demand in complex applications aligned with Tektronix value propositions.
• Manage opportunities through pipeline stages and forecast bookings in CRM systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and customer support to maximize customer experience.
