Job summary

Pratt & Whitney at the Columbus Engine Center (RTX) seeks a Buyer/Planner to handle end-to-end repair PO management and shortage resolution for on-site operations. You will support reporting, engage suppliers, and ensure on-time delivery while adhering to standard work and policies.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years in manufacturing or aviation, or an equivalent combination, and experience in supply chain or procurement is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years in manufacturing, logistics, aerospace or aviation.
• Alternate paths show 4+ years in relevant industry with a degree or A&P certification.
• Experience in supply chain, procurement or supplier management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage repair purchase orders end-to-end for Columbus Engine Center.
• Manage critical shortages to ensure 100% on-time delivery of repairs.
• Support business reporting requirements and deliverables.
• Provide local delivery assurance and supplier development with escalation of issues.
• Maintain adherence to purchasing policies and standard work.

Education

Bachelor’s degree + 2+ years in Manufacturing, Military, Logistics, Aerospace or Aviation; OR an Associate’s degree + 4+ years of relevant experience; OR A&P certificate + 4+ years of relevant experience; OR High School Diploma + 8+ years of relevant experience
