Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, part of RTX, seeks a senior procurement leader to oversee RFPs, negotiations, and cost accountability. You will develop supplier relationships, drive spend analyses, and implement procurement strategies aligned with program objectives.

The role requires deep FAR/DFARS knowledge, DoD clearance eligibility, and a track record of reducing costs while maintaining quality. Onsite in East Hartford, CT with leadership responsibilities across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 10 years of supply chain, program, and/or business management experience.
• At least 5 years of managerial/leadership experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage execution of procurement processes including RFPs and negotiations.
• Apply knowledge of FAR/DFARS and defense procurement practices.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with objectives.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
• Lead spend analyses and cost modeling.
• Drive data-supported contract negotiations and risk assessments.
• Improve procurement workflows and implement automation opportunities.
• Maintain performance-based supplier relationships.
• Present program status to senior leadership.
• Coach and develop team members for growth.
