Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, a RTX aerospace leader, seeks a procurement professional to lead supplier evaluation and purchasing for PTFA. You will guide junior staff and coordinate with planners to secure engineering materials and spares aligned with schedules.

You will collaborate with engineers to define item specifications, review orders for accuracy, and manage forms for purchases over $10K while maintaining robust logistics records and process improvements.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years of relevant procurement experience.
• Experience with data analysis, data collection, logistics, and engineering documentation.
• Familiarity with ALCS / MSALT and engineering lab environments.

Responsibilities

• Identify, select, and evaluate suppliers for material purchases.
• Partner with Planners and Buyers to procure engineering materials and spares for PTFA.
• Collaborate with requesting engineers to define specifications.
• Review and validate purchase orders for accuracy and completeness before submission.
• Coordinate and oversee Special Assessment Forms for purchases over $10K.
• Maintain and improve logistics records and databases to increase efficiency.
• Manage online purchase requests and daily procurement activities for PTFA.
• Monitor material status across the procurement cycle and communicate updates.
