Job summary

The Gallup-McKinley County Schools seeks an Executive Officer to the Superintendent to provide strategic and operational support to the Office of the Superintendent. You will coordinate Board governance, prepare agendas, manage materials, and monitor priority initiatives with discretion and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Required bachelor’s degree in public administration or related field.
• Minimum five years of executive support/public administration experience.
• Training in parliamentary procedure within the first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Board meeting agendas, packets, and minutes.
• Manage the Superintendent's calendar and travel.
• Coordinate Board schedule and logistics.
• Draft correspondence and briefing materials.
• Serve as liaison between the Superintendent, Board, staff, and community.
• Analyze enrollment, staffing, and fiscal data to inform decisions.
