Job summary

Velo3D, Inc. in Fremont, CA is seeking a Business Development Account Manager to lead target accounts from concept to production using Velo3D’s end-to-end Sapphire manufacturing solution.

You will partner with manufacturing and engineering teams at customer sites to accelerate adoption and unlock new programs. You will own programs from design through prototype to full production, educate customers on design allowables, collaborate with Applications Engineering, and document statements of work

Qualifications

• Industry experience in design engineering and manufacturing processes (AM, casting, machining, forging)
• Projects that moved from early development to production
• Self-motivation and ability to manage complex projects
• Efficient sales and account management skills
• Customer-facing and project/program management skills
• CAD software design (SolidWorks, Siemens NX, AutoCAD, CATIA)

Responsibilities

• Lead target accounts into manufacturing production using Velo3D’s end-to-end solution
• Own programs from design through prototype to full production
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across departments on technical projects
• Document statements of work and customer acceptance criteria
• Educate customers on design allowables and industry implications
• Communicate problem statements effectively to Applications Engineering
