Job summary

Velo3D in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Business Development Account Manager to lead target accounts into production using the Sapphire end-to-end AM solution. You will partner with manufacturing and engineering teams at customer sites to drive adoption from concept through volume production.

Educate customers on design options, coordinate with Applications Engineering, and document workscopes and acceptance criteria.

Qualifications

• Industry experience in design engineering and manufacturing processes (AM, casting, machining, forging, etc.).
• Projects started in early phase and moved into production.
• Ability to self-motivate and manage complex projects to completion.
• Efficient and effective sales and account management skills.
• Customer-facing and project/program management skills.
• CAD software design experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead target accounts into manufacturing production with our end-to-end solution.
• Manage programs from early design through prototype to full production.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to define production paths.
• Prepare CAD analyses and cost estimates for customer proposals.
• Coordinate with Applications Engineering on challenging parts and data.
• Document statements of work and acceptance criteria.
