Job summary

Velo3D is seeking a Business Development Account Manager to guide target accounts from concept to full-scale production using Sapphire-based AM. You will serve as the dedicated technical engineer, coordinating with Applications Engineering and Field Management to expedite production adoption for each account.

You will manage complex programs, educate customers on design allowances, and drive manufacturing paths from design to production while collaborating across multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Industry experience in design engineering and manufacturing AM, casting, machining, forging.
• Projects started in early phase and moved into production.
• Self-motivate and manage complex projects to conclusion.
• Efficient and effective sales and account management skills.
• Customer-facing and project/program management skills.
• CAD software design using Solidworks, NX, AutoCAD, CATIA.

Responsibilities

• Own target accounts and lead programs from concept to production.
• Serve as the dedicated Velo technical engineer for accounts.
• Collaborate with Applications Engineering and Field Management.
• Document statements of work and acceptance criteria.
• Educate customers on part design allowances and manufacturing paths.
• Work across departments on technical projects and σχέσεις communications.
