Job summary

Velo3D, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Account Manager in California to guide target accounts from early concept through full-scale production using Sapphire systems.

You will act as the dedicated Velo technical engineer, coordinating with Applications Engineering and Field Management to address complex part production challenges and accelerate adoption of the end-to-end manufacturing solution. The role requires a mechanical/aerospace/material science background, strong sales/account

Qualifications

• Education as stated: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, Material Science, or related field.
• Experience in design engineering and manufacturing processes (AM, casting, machining, forging, etc.).
• Completion of projects from early design to production.

Responsibilities

• Lead target accounts into manufacturing production using Velo3D’s end-to-end solution.
• Manage and educate accounts from concept through prototype to full-scale production.
• Collaborate with Applications Engineering and Field Management on challenging parts production and execution logistics.
• Document work scope and acceptance criteria for external and internal communication.
• Provide design optimization guidance and communicate required changes visually and verbally.
