Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking an Action Officer to support Team Submarine’s Submarine COLUMBIA Class Program Office. The role demands strong organizational and analytical skills, security clearance, and the ability to manage complex documentation and meetings.

The candidate will organize documents, track commitments, improve processes, and coordinate travel while maintaining tight deadlines and discretion in handling sensitive information for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience, or
• Associate's degree and 6 years of experience, or
• High School diploma/GED or military experience with 8 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain electronic and physical document systems.
• Assist with tracking and completion support of commitments and document completion.
• Analyze processes and workflows, formulate process improvements.
• Research, assemble, and analyze facts; present data for senior leadership.
• Track action items to ensure on-time completion and leadership expectations.
• Develop and implement office policies and procedures.
• Maintain calendar and scheduling for senior leadership.
• Prepare, process, and maintain complex paperwork and forms.
• Coordinate travel and prepare travel documentation including expense reports.
• Safeguard sensitive information and manage sensitive records.
• Review administrative/technical documents for format and accuracy.
• Develop, analyze, and present products, training modules, and evaluation tools.
• Attend meetings and prepare notes/minutes.
• Ensure correspondence is completed accurately and timely per Navy policies.
• Review Travel System authorizations and vouchers.
• Update organization charts and phone listings.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
