Job summary

Vallen Distribution seeks an Accounts Receivable Analyst to manage a diverse portfolio of high-value and moderately complex customer accounts. You will apply both manual and automated collection techniques, coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and Finance to ensure timely receivables and accurate billing.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 2-4 years experience in Credit & Collections or related financial operations roles.
• Experience managing B2B accounts in industrial distribution or integrated supply environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP platforms.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a defined portfolio of the company's largest and most strategic customer accounts within the Integrated Supply and Industrial sectors.
• Perform daily reviews of strategic portfolios to assess account priorities and payment performance.
• Investigate and resolve complex payment discrepancies in collaboration with Cash Applications and Billing teams.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all collection activity and communicate status to internal stakeholders.
• Develop and execute customer-specific collection strategies in partnership with Sales leadership and Customer Service.
• Monitor and manage customer credit limits and terms within the ERP system.
