Vallen Distribution, Inc. seeks an Accounts Receivable Analyst to manage a portfolio of their largest strategic customer accounts and more routine accounts with a hands-on, analytic approach.

The role emphasizes timely receivables, proactive billing issue resolution, and cross‑department collaboration. The position partners with Sales, Customer Service, Operations and Finance to optimize collection performance, communicate status, and implement risk‑based collection strategies while ensuring

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Experience in Credit & Collections, AR, or financial operations roles.
• Proficiency with Excel and ERP platforms (Infor SXe, AS400).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a defined portfolio of strategic customer accounts with timely follow-up on past-due balances.
• Review portfolio performance, assess payment trends, and identify credit risks.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies with Cash Applications and Billing teams.
• Document collection activities and develop customer-specific collection strategies with Sales.
