Job summary

Applied Systems, Inc. is hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to support day-to-day purchasing activities, process purchase requests, and maintain accurate records. You will interact with vendors and internal departments, ensuring confidentiality and timely processing in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Canada assets ownership with backup support for US assets is included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; related experience a plus.
• Experience in purchasing, accounts payable, or admin support preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data entry, sorting, and tracking.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to handle confidential information.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions, orders, vendor requests, and related docs.
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams to obtain info and follow up.
• Maintain organized purchasing records, logs, and tracking spreadsheets.
• Review docs for accuracy and required approvals per procedures.
• Support invoice, vendor, and purchasing inquiries as needed.
• Take ownership of Canada fixed assets activities; backup for US assets.
• Assist with process improvements and maintaining procedures.
• Monitor and prioritize multiple requests to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
