Job summary

AMPAM Parks Mechanical, Inc. in California is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to manage procurement of materials, supplies, and services, supporting inventory levels and timely deliveries.

You will issue purchase orders, coordinate with vendors, and use ERP/Service Titan systems to maintain records, forecast purchasing needs with operations, and help prepare quotes for service work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's preferred.
• 2+ years in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; ERP experience a plus.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to analyze data and make purchasing decisions.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the procurement of materials, equipment, and services in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Issue and manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure the timely receipt of materials.
• Communicate with vendors to obtain pricing, negotiate terms, and coordinate delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and update procurement data within internal systems, including ERP and Service Titan.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders to maintain adequate stock.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and field teams to forecast purchasing needs and support project schedules.
• Assist with vendor evaluations and maintain approved supplier and subcontractor records.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and applicable industry regulations.
• Assist in preparing technician estimates, customer quotes, and pricing for service work.
• Perform daily data entry and administrative tasks within Service Titan for HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical price books.
• Coordinate with technicians, vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments to support daily service operations and ensure timely job completion.
