Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager in Kentucky to oversee multi-entity accounting, consolidations, and month-end close. You will manage cash flow, bank relationships, and core GL activities while partnering with leadership to drive accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including a management or senior-level role.
• Strong experience with multi-entity accounting and financial consolidations.
• Experience managing cash management, banking relationships, and cash flow.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting for multiple entities with timely recording of transactions.
• Lead month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Coordinate intercompany eliminations and consolidated reporting.
• Manage cash flow, banking activity, and cash balances across entities.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger functions.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
