Job summary

Envirolink in Raleigh, NC is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to own day-to-day accounting and partner with finance leadership on strategic insights. This role sits on a small leadership team and offers a chance to build scalable processes from the ground up.

You will manage close cycles, journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting, while collaborating with operations to improve visibility. A Bachelor's in accounting/finance and 5+ years of experience, plus knowledge of US GAAP, are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience in day-to-day accounting and scalable processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Big 4 experience a plus.
• QuickBooks Online experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Maintain the general ledger and oversee AP/AR/invoicing.
• Assist with revenue recognition and contract review.
• Partner with operations and leadership to improve financial visibility.
• Assist in developing accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Maintain fixed asset records and track capital expenditures.
• Prepare financial analyses and management reports.
