Job summary

LHH in Charlotte, NC is seeking an accountant who owns the month-end close, partners with leadership, and seeks to improve processes. This onsite role offers exposure across the organization and growth as the company grows.

You'll work closely with an experienced Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting, strengthen internal controls, and gain broader exposure beyond traditional accounting responsibilities in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• CPA or progress toward certification is a plus.
• 3+ years of accounting experience with increasing responsibility.
• Strong month-end close experience and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close process and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.
• Work with leadership to keep accounting operations running smoothly and provide insight into the numbers.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce inefficiencies, and strengthen controls.
• Prepare and review reconciliations, financial reports, and key accounting schedules.
• Collaborate with teams across the business and broaden exposure beyond traditional accounting.
