Vaco by Highspring seeks a Senior Accounting Manager in Raleigh to lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, oversee the general ledger, and drive accuracy in financial reporting. The role blends technical accounting expertise with practical, hands-on execution across the organization.

The ideal candidate has GAAP, consolidations, and close process experience, and demonstrates strong analytical and communication skills in a collaborative environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA is required.
• Progressive accounting experience with GAAP, consolidations, general ledger, and close.
• Experience leading complex accounting activities and reviewing others’ work.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills in hands-on environment.

Mansioni

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close, including consolidations.
• Oversee general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and close.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements and schedules.
• Research complex accounting matters and ensure GAAP consistency.
• Maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Review balance sheet activity and investigate variances.
• Coordinate audit support and prepare schedules.
• Partner with finance and operations to improve data accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes.
• Provide hands-on guidance to the accounting team.
