Job summary

The Point Group is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to lead daily accounting operations, ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting, and strengthen internal controls. You will coordinate payroll accounting, cash management, and month-end closes while partnering with executives to support budgeting and forecasting.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities, and a solid working knowledge of GAAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related field required.
• Minimum of five years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• CPA designation is preferred but not required.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with general ledger management, month-end and year-end closing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, AP, AR, and reconciliations.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure timely reporting.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and schedules.
• Maintain GAAP-compliant financial records and strong internal controls.
• Oversee cash management, bank reconciliations, and payroll-related accounting.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and internal controls.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
• Coordinate with auditors, vendors, and external partners.
• Supervise and train accounting personnel; provide leadership to the team.
