Job summary

Focus Practice Management is seeking an experienced Accounting & Financial Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations for multiple affiliated entities while maintaining strong financial controls, accurate reporting, and efficient workflows.

This hands-on leadership role combines accounting operations, financial reporting, payroll oversight, cash management, and process improvement in collaboration with the CFO and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operations experience.
• Strong QuickBooks Online experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Experience preparing financial statements and account reconciliations.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations for multiple affiliated entities.
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and prepare monthly financial statements.
• Perform and review bank, balance sheet, and credit card reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable, vendor payments, and expense tracking.
• Monitor accounts receivable and support collection activities.
• Prepare management reporting packages and financial analyses.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash management initiatives.
• Coordinate annual audits and work with external accountants and advisors.
• Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen controls and increase efficiency.
