The ideal candidate collaborates with management on budgeting and forecasting, and partners with CPAs and agencies to stay compliant.

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing financial operations and reporting.
• Proficient with QuickBooks and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of payroll processes and related government requirements.
• Familiar with general business contracts and purchasing terms.
• Ability to train staff on accounting systems and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations including accounting and financial reporting.
• Ensure all transactions flow through QuickBooks for audit trail.
• Prepare financial reports for departments, the company, and external use.
• Collaborate with management on budgeting, forecasting and planning.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with CPA and government agencies to ensure compliance.
• Manage accounting functions end-to-end and interfaces with QB.
• Train staff on QuickBooks and accounting procedures.
• Oversee HR/Benefits/IT and payroll-related activities.
