Resources Global Professionals is seeking an experienced Accounting Controller to lead our accounting operations in a fast-paced environment. You will manage month-end close, prepare financial statements, and uphold internal controls in line with U.S.

GAAP, while partnering with leadership to drive strategic initiatives. The role requires hands-on leadership of a growing accounting team, expertise in ERP systems, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA designation strongly preferred.
• 8+ years progressive accounting experience with leadership.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls and accounting best practices.
• Experience managing month-end close, audits and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to lead accounting teams and develop staff.
• Advanced proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, payroll accounting, and financial reporting.
• Direct the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial results.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policies.
• Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Oversee account reconciliations, journal entries, variance analyses and balance sheet integrity.
• Partner with Finance leadership on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and strategic planning initiatives.
• Coordinate and manage external audits, tax filings and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Provide technical accounting guidance and support for complex transactions and new business initiatives.
• Continuously assess and improve accounting processes, systems and reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Mentor, develop and lead a high-performing accounting team while fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
• Support ERP implementations, system enhancements and other process improvement initiatives as needed.
• Collaborate with business leaders across departments to provide financial insights and drive informed decision-making.
