Job summary

Stout, based in Houston, seeks an experienced Accounting & Reporting Advisory professional to lead engagements and deliver client-ready conclusions under US GAAP. You will work with a range of clients from early-stage to large public entities, focusing on research, policy development, and accurate financial reporting.

The role blends technical accounting with client service, post-acquisition integration, and ERP/AI-enabled tool usage across the advisory practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Finance or Accounting degree.
• 8+ years of finance process and/or transformation experience.
• CPA preferred.
• Experience in industries such as manufacturing, CPG, healthcare, and financial services.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting and reporting advisory engagements.
• Prepare reconciliations and communicate findings to clients.
• Analyze complex contracts and conduct technical accounting research.
• Prepare accounting memoranda and policies aligned to US GAAP.
• Oversee journal entries and month-end close processes.
• Support post-acquisition integration and valuation practice.
