Job summary

Stout is seeking a seasoned Accounting & Reporting Advisory professional in the Atlanta area to lead engagements, research technical accounting issues, and prepare client deliverables. You will oversee reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements, collaborating with cross-functional teams across client engagements.

The role emphasizes strong client service, communication skills, and expertise in post-acquisition integration and accounting research.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of US GAAP including accounting research and practical interpretation.
• Experience with post-acquisition integration and M&A activities.
• Ability to prepare and review financial statements, memos, and policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead Accounting & Reporting Advisory engagements and prepare client deliverables.
• Prepare reconciliations and communicate with clients, identifying issues and resolutions.
• Review complex contracts and conduct technical accounting research.
• Prepare accounting memoranda and policies and ensure clarity and accuracy.
• Oversee journal entries and daily client accounting operations.
• Support SEC-related schedules and audit assistance.
