Job summary

Stout seeks a seasoned accounting professional to lead Accounting & Reporting Advisory engagements, focusing on research, client deliverables, and complex financial issues for a diverse set of clients.

You will partner with early-stage to large publicly traded organizations, perform technical accounting research, prepare memoranda, and help with post-acquisition integration, reporting, and SEC-related tasks. A CPA and strong US GAAP knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting with CPA preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with post-acquisition integration and M&A.
• Strong ability to prepare accounting memoranda and policies.
• Ability to interact with executive leadership and clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead Accounting & Reporting Advisory engagements with research and client deliverables.
• Prepare and review reconciliations and communicate findings to clients.
• Analyze complex contracts and perform technical accounting research.
• Prepare accounting memoranda and policies for accuracy and clarity.
• Determine journal entries and manage day-to-day accounting operations for clients.
• Prepare financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures.
• Support SEC filing requirements and related schedules.
• Serve as post-acquisition integration SME across engagements.
• Assist in business development and client proposals.
• Collaborate with ERP systems like NetSuite, Sage Intacct, SAP, Oracle.
