The Strategic Account Representative maintains and expands relationships with strategically important large customers. Assigned to 15 to 20 named customers, the Strategic Account Representative is responsible for achieving quota with a book of business and strategic account objectives. The primary focus is on accounts based within their region.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations.
  • Develop a list of key contacts per customer and implement sales strategies with their organization to increase business.
  • Cultivate and nurture existing strategic account customers (retailers, property management, facility maintenance companies, industrial clients, large contractors) to increase their spend and wallet share.
  • Communicate regularly with targets to ensure profitable rental volume and strategic objectives are met.
  • Lead joint company-strategic account planning to develop mutual performance objectives, rental targets, and milestones quarterly.
  • Continuously assess, clarify, and validate customer needs.
  • Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs, involving necessary company personnel.
  • Achieve rental quotas within designated strategic accounts.
  • Meet expectations for revenue growth and activation targets.
  • Achieve strategic customer objectives set by management.
  • Complete strategic account plans that meet company standards.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of 3 years outbound sales experience
  • 4-year bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Experience managing and developing high-performance account-based sales
  • Strong skills in new business development, account management, and time management
  • Sales leadership experience, especially selling to large national accounts and closing high-level deals
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Ability to multi-task
