Job Details

Summary:

The Strategic Account Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day relationship between MWI and the MVH strategic accounts by providing superior customer service and support. The Strategic Account Specialist also develops and maintains successful working relationships with relevant departments at MWI that will best serve the customer.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Provide all facets of customer service
  2. This includes high volume phone support and response to email inquiries, in a timely and professional manner
  3. Service customer calls, emails and faxes by responding to general inquiries, concerns and requests
  4. Reconcile potentially damaged and lost shipments, including processing product returns and credits
  5. Provide accurate information regarding products, pricing, services, policies and procedures
  6. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions/communications in CRM (Orbit) system
  7. Maintain frequent contact with internal and external customers to address all issues with assigned area of responsibility
  8. Analyze and investigate customer issues by taking the appropriate action in a professional and timely manner
  9. Complete assigned special tasks

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  2. Customer service background is preferred; veterinary clinic experience is desirable
  3. Strong verbal and written communication skills
  4. Intermediate or advanced Excel skills are required and proficiency with Word and Outlook is needed
  5. Ability to deal with stressful situations as they arise

Full time Salary Range: $42,600 - 60,940

*This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
