ABOUT THE JOB:

The Strategic Account Representative maintains and expands relationships with strategically important large customers. Managing 15 to 20 named accounts, this role is responsible for achieving sales quotas and strategic objectives within their region. ***This position can be remote***

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations.
  • Develop a list of key contacts per customer and implement sales strategies to increase business.
  • Cultivate and nurture existing strategic account customers to increase their spend and share of wallet.
  • Communicate regularly with targets regarding rental volume and strategic objectives.
  • Lead joint planning processes to develop mutual performance objectives and milestones.
  • Assess, clarify, and validate ongoing customer needs.
  • Develop solutions addressing customer needs, involving necessary company personnel.
  • Achieve rental quotas and revenue growth within assigned accounts.
  • Meet expectations for revenue, activation, and strategic customer objectives.
  • Complete strategic account plans meeting company standards.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Computer, telephone, and electronic office equipment
  • MS Office Suite, Salesforce.com, SAP, Descartes

Supervisory Responsibility:

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of 3 years outbound sales experience
  • 4-year bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
  • Experience managing high-performance account-based sales
  • Strong skills in new business development, account management, and time management
  • Sales leadership experience, particularly with large national accounts and high-level deals
  • Effective communication skills—written and oral
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Ability to multitask
