ABOUT THE JOB:

The Strategic Account Representative manages and expands relationships with key large customers. Responsible for 15 to 20 named accounts, achieving sales quotas and strategic objectives within their region. ***This position can be remote***

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain professional relationships with key personnel in assigned accounts.
  • Coordinate with support, service, and management teams to meet account goals and customer expectations.
  • Create a list of key contacts and develop sales strategies to grow business.
  • Nurture existing strategic accounts (retailers, property managers, industrial clients, etc.) to increase their spend and share of wallet.
  • Communicate regularly with targets to ensure profitable rental volume and strategic goals.
  • Lead joint planning with clients to set performance objectives, rental targets, and milestones quarterly.
  • Continuously assess and clarify customer needs.
  • Develop solutions addressing customer needs, involving relevant company personnel.
  • Meet rental quotas and revenue growth targets within assigned accounts.
  • Achieve strategic customer objectives set by management.
  • Complete account plans aligning with company standards.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • MS Office, Salesforce.com, SAP, Descartes

Supervisory Responsibility:

  • None
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • At least 3 years of outbound sales experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Experience managing high-performance account sales
  • Strong skills in new business development, account management, and time management
  • Experience selling to large national accounts and closing high-level deals
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Superior presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Ability to multi-task effectively
