Qualifications

The Strategic Account Representative maintains and expands relationships with large, strategically important customers. Responsible for managing 15 to 20 named accounts, achieving sales quotas, and meeting strategic account objectives within their region.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations.
  • Develop a list of key contacts per customer and implement sales strategies to increase business.
  • Cultivate existing strategic accounts (retailers, property management, facility maintenance, industrial customers, large contractors) to increase their spend and wallet share.
  • Communicate regularly with targets to ensure profitable rental volume and strategic objectives are met.
  • Lead joint planning processes to develop mutual performance objectives, rental targets, and milestones quarterly.
  • Assess, clarify, and validate ongoing customer needs.
  • Lead solution development efforts addressing customer needs, involving necessary company personnel.
  • Achieve rental quotas for the assigned book of business within strategic accounts.
  • Meet revenue growth and activation targets.
  • Achieve strategic customer objectives set by management.
  • Complete strategic account plans aligning with company standards.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility:

  • None
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of 3 years outbound sales experience
  • 4-year bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • Experience managing and developing high-performance account-based sales
  • Strong skills in new business development, account management, and time management
  • Sales leadership experience, particularly selling to large national accounts and closing high-level deals
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Superior presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Ability to multi-task
