Job summary

Vital Records Control (VRC) is seeking an Account Resolution Specialist to support AR collections and optimize cash flow. You will work closely with AR invoicing, cash applications, and management to improve DSO while handling daily financial transactions end-to-end.

The ideal candidate has experience in collections, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication. This role requires cross-functional coordination and a proactive approach to reduce aging and resolve disputes.

Qualifications

• Candidate familiar with AR collections procedures and customer service background.
• Ability to interact with accounting systems, operating systems, and invoicing processes.
• Experience handling daily financial transactions end-to-end preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned portfolio of clients and aging.
• Learn client billing guidelines for portfolios.
• Troubleshoot non-payment (skip tracing, dunning letters, calls, emails).
• Review portfolio regularly to address paged receivables and escalate uncollected accounts.
• Coordinate with field, sales and Customer Service to resolve billing disputes.
• Attend monthly AVP/DOO meetings on aging performance.
• Review policies; suggest improvements where appropriate.
• Build relationships across departments and with customers.
• Assist in creating productivity standards.
• Research and resolve billing, cash application and account issues.
