Job summary

CSA Group Testing & Certification Inc. in Toronto is seeking a results‑driven sales professional to drive growth across existing accounts and new business opportunities in the safety certification industry.

You will initiate the sales process, respond to inquiries, prepare proposals and quotes, and collaborate with marketing and service teams to win opportunities. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of sales experience, post‑secondary education, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education required.
• 2–4 years of sales experience.
• Understanding of Salesforce and Workday a plus.
• Knowledge of the safety certification industry.
• Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook or an equivalent CRM/database application.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Excellent phone and customer service skills.
• Detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Ability to prepare cost proposals promptly to meet customers' needs.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to draft and deliver sales presentations.

Responsibilities

• Initiates the sales process and provides information to existing clients.
• Manages the sales process and responds to inquiries and visits to present CSA Group services.
• Prioritizes work and follows up on client inquiries and proposals.
• Manages client relationships and identifies growth opportunities within assigned accounts.
• Prepares cost proposals and inputs client information into the shared sales database.
• Sends proposals and conducts follow‑up calls to provide information and document activities.
• Regularly follows up on quotations and sales opportunities.
• Researches customer accounts and generates leads and demand.
• Expected to meet or exceed sales targets for assigned medium‑size accounts.
