Job summary

Control Southern is seeking an Account Manager to cover the Augusta, GA area, selling process automation and control products and professional services to industrial customers. You will develop territory plans and strategic account programs to drive profitable growth, while expanding trusted advisor relationships with key contacts across MVCs.

The role involves direct sales to process plants and utilities, collaborating with Emerson processes teams, and minimal overnight travel between Augusta

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; BS in Engineering preferred.
• 1-3 years total experience in engineering and/or industrial process control functions.

Responsibilities

• Sell process control products and services including valves and instrumentation.
• Develop territory marketing and sales plans for growth.
• Identify and pursue large Emerson Process Management control system opportunities.
• Direct sales activities at 7–10 high-potential strategic accounts.
• Develop evergreen strategic account plans to shift buyers to value-based decisions.
