Job summary

SJE Revere, based in Hoover, Alabama, seeks an Account Manager to lead the commercial interface with assigned accounts and drive margin growth. You will manage orders, develop growth strategies, and coordinate with estimators and engineers to prepare proposals.

The role requires strong relationship management, proposal development, and knowledge of PLC/HMI/VFD technologies, with travel to customer sites and events as needed.

Qualifications

• Technical degree with 3 years’ experience or 6 years in the controls field.
• Minimum five years’ experience as the primary sales, engineering, or estimator for automations services.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs and other process controllers.
• Collaborate with a team performing estimating and customer service functions with supervision.
• Experienced in specification reading and interpretation for controls field and application requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary commercial interface for assigned accounts and manage orders and margins.
• Meet quarterly quotas while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Develop and execute account growth strategies and annual forecasts.
• Collaborate with estimating and engineering resources to prepare estimates and proposals.
• Travel to customer offices and relevant trade events as needed.
