Job summary

Charter Casting, a leader in cast metal solutions, seeks a Strategic Account Manager to drive above-market growth across top OEM accounts from a remote home office. The role targets multi-year platform wins, margin expansion, and long-term commercial success with expiring portfolios and cross-functional execution.

Candidates should have 8+ years in outside sales within metals or manufacturing, strong negotiation and executive communication, and a track record of complex contract wins.

Qualifications

• 8 years of outside sales experience in metals or manufacturing
• Demonstrated success managing large, complex OEM accounts
• Proven success in winning large, multi-year programs
• Advanced financial acumen, including pricing strategy and margin optimization
• Executive-level communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Experience developing and executing multi-year strategic account plans

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic account plans across Charter Casting’s critical OEM relationships
• Own executive-level commercial relationships and long-term account positioning
• Identify and secure major platform wins and long-term commercial agreements
• Lead complex negotiations involving pricing strategy, margin protection, and contract structure
• Influence portfolio strategy, business planning, and growth priorities
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver strategic customer commitments
• Monitor industry trends to identify high-value growth opportunities
