Job summary

Ultimate Staffing seeks an Account Manager for Contract Manufacturing in Newark, CA, to develop new business with CM, EMS, and OEM partners. This hunter role focuses on early stage opportunity discovery, building relationships, and closing complex deals across multiple sites.

You will prospect, qualify, and manage opportunities from initial contact through quotation, negotiation, and award, collaborating with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure successful handoffs after

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Proven success in business development within a B2B manufacturing environment.
Experience selling technical, engineered, industrial, automation, logistics, packaging, or custom manufacturing solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop new business opportunities within CM, EMS providers, OEMs.
Build relationships with engineering, procurement, operations, and exec stakeholders.
Engage customers early in product development and sourcing.
Drive opportunities from prospecting through quotation, negotiation, and contract award.
Partner with cross-functional teams to support customer needs.
Manage a healthy pipeline of new business opportunities and sales activity.
Monitor market trends and customer programs to identify revenue opportunities.
Navigate complex buying groups and multi-site manufacturing organizations.
Ensure smooth handoff of awarded business to operations after launch.
