Job summary

Stratacomm seeks a talented account professional in the DMV area to manage client services, campaigns and earned media projects. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, craft high-quality materials, and leverage AI tools to enhance deliverables and efficiency.

You have at least 2 years in communications, strong writing/editing, and a knack for storytelling across diverse audiences. This role supports events, measurement reporting, and integrated campaigns in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of communications experience; agency experience preferred.
Exceptional writing and editing using AP Style.
Experience conducting media outreach and building pitching lists.
Curiosity about clients' industries and current events.
Strong storytelling instincts for diverse audiences.
Experience contributing to integrated campaigns (earned, digital and paid).
Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple accounts.
Comfort using AI tools to enhance research and drafting.
Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills; professional representation of Stratacomm.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and 365 tools.

Responsibilities

Conduct research and synthesize findings into clear, actionable summaries for client counsel and agency pursuits.
Manage multiple projects and accounts, keeping timelines and deliverables on track.
Leverage AI tools to sharpen deliverables and drive efficiency.
Build and manage timelines for campaigns using project management tools like Asana.
Support planning and execution of events, including onsite staff support.
Coordinate internal requests across creative, digital, paid media and other teams.
Review deliverables against client style guides for accuracy and brand compliance.
Compile measurement and KPI reports linking activity to business objectives.
Support financial management tasks including activity tracking and budget monitoring.
Monitor media coverage and synthesize intelligence to inform strategy.
Write and edit client-ready materials: news releases, pitches, talking points, and more.
Contribute to agency new business efforts with research and proposals.
Engage in agency marketing and visibility activities and share feedback.
Demonstrate growth mindset and collaborate with colleagues to build skills.
