SpecSys Inc. is seeking an Account Executive to develop and nurture client relationships across our markets in the upper Midwest. You will manage accounts, research opportunities, and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to create accurate quotes and solutions.

The role requires traveling 25–50% of the time, strong communication skills, and the ability to interpret drawings and BOMs for proposals. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a stable, growth-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

• Good communication and interpersonal skills for regular customer meetings.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, BOMs and project details for quotes.
• Proficiency in Excel to prepare estimates for opportunities.
• Tech savvy with smart devices and software tools.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers.
• Travel 25–50% of the time to meet clients.
• Maintain accurate company and contact information in databases.
• Prepare customer target lists and research market information.
• Review drawings and BOMs to support quotes and proposals.
• Prepare estimates in Excel for specific opportunities.
• Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing for data on quotes.
• Provide customer specifications to department leads.
• Present at trade shows and represent the company.
