Job summary

SpecSys Inc. is seeking an Account Executive to drive new business and maintain key customer relationships across our engineering and manufacturing solutions.

You will travel 25–50% of the time, prepare quotes in Excel, review drawings and BOMs, and collaborate with engineering and sales teams to meet customer specifications. Join a team that values relationship-building, market research, and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine reports.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and presenting data.
• Comfort with engineering terminology and BOM implications.

Responsibilities

• Contact and meet current and prospective customers to maintain relationships.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities via networking and market research.
• Travel 25–50% of the time.
• Enter, review, and keep company and contact information up to date.
• Prepare lists of prospective customers and research market information.
• Understand drawings, 3D models and BOMs for quoting projects.
• Prepare estimates in Excel to meet customer needs.
• Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing to obtain quote data.
• Consult with department leads on customer specifications and attend trade shows.
• Report weekly on opportunities and proposals.
