Directive, a leading B2B marketing agency in the United States, seeks an Account Director for Client Strategy. In this role, you will manage high-value client relationships, drive retention and expansion strategies, and collaborate across various teams to deliver impactful marketing results. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in agency/client roles and is adept at influencing executive stakeholders.

Directive offers a competitive annual salary between $140,000 and $160,000, plus comprehensive benefits including unlimited PTO, a 401(k) match, and annual retreats.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of experience in agency or client services roles, with significant exposure to B2B SaaS or technology clients.
• Proven experience owning renewals, upsell, and cross-sell motions across a $2M+ portfolio.
• Strong fluency across Paid Media, SEO/Content, CRO, Creative, and RevOps.
• Experience partnering with VP-, CMO-, and CRO-level client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior strategic lead for enterprise clients.
• Develop and execute renewal and upsell strategies.
• Design integrated growth plans across all channels.
• Own portfolio economics, including forecasting and scope control.
• Translate performance data into business narratives.
• Partner with channel leads to align priorities.
• Proactively identify client risks and mitigate issues.
• Mentor strategists and project teams.
