Job summary

The Regents of the University of California on behalf of their Los Angeles Campus is seeking an HR Analyst 2 to support day-to-day HR operations, coordinating personnel, payroll, timekeeping, and funding transactions for academic, student, postdoctoral, staff, and affiliate populations.

You will collaborate with faculty, staff, students, and campus partners to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and policy compliance while delivering service-oriented HR solutions in a detail-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR, payroll, or administrative operations.
• Experience reviewing personnel and payroll transactions.
• Knowledge of payroll funding and financial transactions.
• Ability to interpret policies and collective bargaining agreement provisions.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
