University of California - Los Angeles (UCLA) seeks an HR Analyst 2 to support day‑to‑day HR operations, coordinating personnel, payroll, timekeeping, and funding transactions for academic, student, postdoctoral, staff, and affiliate populations. You will collaborate with faculty, staff, students, and campus partners to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant HR processes.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of human resources, academic personnel, and payroll administration principles and practices (Required)
• Skill in accurately reviewing and processing personnel and payroll transactions (Required)
• Working knowledge of payroll funding and financial transaction processes (Required)
• Demonstrated ability to review detailed personnel, payroll, timekeeping, and funding information for accuracy and completeness (Required)
• Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, guidelines, and collective bargaining agreement provisions (Required)
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills (Required)
• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy (Required)
• Skill in maintaining accurate, organized, and confidential personnel and administrative records (Preferred)
• Effective written and verbal communication skills (Required)
• Demonstrated interpersonal and customer‑service skills (Required)
