Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a Sales Engineer to support and grow our Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP) and precast stormwater portfolio. This field-based technical expert will collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to drive revenue growth and market adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related technical field.
• Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within 18 months.
• 5–7+ years of experience in technical sales, applications engineering, or civil infrastructure engineering.
• Direct experience with Reinforced Concrete Pipe, precast stormwater systems, or related civil infrastructure products.
• Strong understanding of stormwater conveyance, detention, retention, and treatment applications.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and CRM systems.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Identify growth opportunities for RCP and precast stormwater products in partnership with Sales Directors and Regional Managers.
• Develop account strategies to influence asset owners, engineering firms, municipalities, and DOTs to specify Oldcastle Infrastructure solutions.
• Review and manage customer and agency specifications with product teams.
• Track specifications across the territory and support retention/detention projects.
• Provide technical sales support and deliver value-based presentations to engineers, municipalities, DOTs, developers, and contractors.
• Support installation best practices and resolve field-related challenges.
