Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, seeks a Stormwater Solutions Engineer to deliver high-quality engineering and design services for stormwater and treatment projects across North America. You will work with internal and external clients to ensure solutions meet requirements, while supporting the field sales team to build civil engineering relationships.

Remote position with a need to be located near a facility in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience with solid background in drainage design.
• Ability to prepare and review standard engineering documentation and plans.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Enthusiasm and passion for the business and achieving organizational goals.
• Team player able to share thoughts openly, accept new ideas and get the job done in a highly interactive process.
• Knowledge of software: AutoCAD, BIM, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, HydroCAD, MathCAD, etc.

Responsibilities

• Present project-specific solutions to civil engineering customers.
• Provide high-quality design calculations, basic illustrations, and advice to integrate and secure Oldcastle products on site plans.
• Respond to civil engineering clients on project-specific inquiries and industry questions including local stormwater regulations.
• Establish and maintain rapport with civil engineer customers.
• Support field and internal team members to achieve team goals.
• Assist sales team during the project bid phase by providing design review and confirming appropriate product design.
• Provide project and technical support for submittal drawings, calculations, regulatory approvals, production and product delivery.
• Maintain engineering standards and procedures.
• Ensure pertinent project information is accurately entered into the database.
• Other duties as assigned.
