Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, seeks a Sales Engineer to support and grow our Reinforced Concrete Pipe and precast stormwater portfolio. This role is a field-based technical expert and specification leader, collaborating with Engineering, Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to drive revenue growth and market adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related technical field.
• Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within 18 months.
• 5–7+ years in technical sales, applications engineering, or civil infrastructure.
• Direct experience with Reinforced Concrete Pipe or precast stormwater systems.
• Strong understanding of stormwater conveyance, detention, retention, and treatment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects across cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and CRM systems.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Growth & Specification Leadership across RCP and precast stormwater products.
• Develop and execute account-specific strategies to influence engineers, municipalities, and DOTs.
• Review and manage specifications with Product Engineering and Product Management.
• Track specifications and status across the territory.
• Provide technical sales support and develop value-added customer solutions.
• Develop and deliver internal product training for sales, operations, and engineering teams.
