Job summary

Pape-Dawson Engineers seeks a Project Engineer to lead technical design and engineering execution on civil infrastructure projects. You will own deliverables from concept to final design, perform 1D/2D hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, and coordinate with clients, agencies, and subconsultants to meet schedule and budget.

The ideal candidate holds a PE license, an ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree, and 4+ years of progressive experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Minimum of 4 years of progressive civil engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of design standards and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with engineering design and analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and produce complete engineering designs, including plans, specifications, reports, calculations, and estimates.
• Perform 1D/2D hydrologic and hydraulic analyses.
• Coordinate technical work with project managers, internal disciplines, subconsultants, and external stakeholders.
• Review and oversee work to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Prepare and review technical reports and FEMA documentation as needed.
