Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Minimum of 4 years of progressive engineering experience.
• Proficient in engineering design and analysis software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead technical work and coordinate across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and produce complete engineering designs, including plans, specifications, reports, calculations, and estimates.
• Evaluate design alternatives, balance quality, constructability, cost, and schedule.
• Coordinate technical work with project managers, internal disciplines, subconsultants, and external stakeholders.
• Review and oversee work prepared by engineers, EITs, designers, and technicians.
• Prepare and review technical reports and documentation.
• Support project delivery by identifying technical risks and ensuring schedule and budget adherence.
• Communicate with clients, agencies, and project partners professionally.
• Mentor junior staff and support their development.
• Lead planning and design of water distribution and wastewater systems.
• Perform hydraulic modeling and system analyses.
• Prepare regulatory permitting submittals and responses.
• Support design of treatment facilities and review contractor submittals.
