Job summary

Davey Resource Group, Inc. seeks a motivated Stormwater Project Manager to grow stormwater compliance services in Northern Indiana and Southwest Michigan. You will oversee NPDES inspections, SWPPP management, and align compliance with active construction projects.

The ideal candidate is independent, client-facing, and technically strong, with hands-on NPDES permit experience and the ability to expand services into new markets within a nationwide team.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Environmental Science, Natural Resources, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience performing NPDES stormwater and/or SWPPP inspections on construction or maintenance projects.
• Working knowledge of NPDES permitting requirements, erosion and sediment control BMPs, and stormwater compliance documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with limited supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing interactions.

Responsibilities

• Perform NPDES stormwater compliance inspections and reporting per permit requirements.
• Conduct, manage, and audit SWPPPs to ensure permit compliance.
• Review construction plans to ensure ESC measures are effective and practical.
• Support NPDES permitting compliance, including inspection coordination and documentation tracking.
• Serve as a client-facing representative for stormwater and NPDES services, supporting growth.
