Job summary

Davey Resource Group, Inc. is seeking a Stormwater and Compliance Inspector to support and expand NPDES compliance services across Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. The role emphasizes independent, client-facing work, with hands-on inspections and ability to integrate compliance into ongoing projects.

Ideal candidates bring experience with CGP and state DEP rules, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects while coordinating with contractors and management.

Qualifications

• Experience performing NPDES stormwater and SWPPP inspections on construction or maintenance projects.
• Working knowledge of NPDES permitting requirements, CGP and state regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with limited supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for client-facing roles.
• Proficiency with common office software and compliance platforms.

Responsibilities

• Perform NPDES stormwater compliance inspections and reporting.
• Conduct, manage, and audit SWPPPs to ensure permit compliance.
• Review construction plans to ensure ESC measures are effective and implementable.
• Coordinate inspection schedules and corrective actions with clients.
• Prepare inspection reports and regulatory correspondence.
• Serve as client-facing representative for stormwater services.
• Integrate stormwater compliance into projects as feasible.
