Job summary

Davey Resource Group, Inc. seeks a Stormwater and Compliance Inspector to expand stormwater compliance services in Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. You will conduct NPDES inspections, manage SWPPPs, and support enforcement coordination across multiple projects on site.

The role requires independence, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office/Google Suite, with opportunities to contribute to business development and client retention.

Qualifications

• Degree in environmental studies or related field with hands-on NPDES experience.
• Minimum 1+ years of experience performing NPDES stormwater/SWPPP inspections on construction or maintenance projects.
• Working knowledge of NPDES permitting requirements, CGP, PAG-01/PAG-02 regs, erosion & sediment control BMPs.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with limited supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including client-facing interactions.

Responsibilities

• Perform NPDES stormwater compliance inspections and reporting per permit requirements.
• Conduct, manage, and audit SWPPPs for permit compliance.
• Review construction plans to ensure ESC measures are effective and practical.
• Coordinate with inspectors, project managers, and operations to install and document BMPs.
